Introduction
The Assistant Kitchen Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency within our production kitchen. Based in Kebumen, this position ensures that all kitchen equipment and work areas are meticulously sanitized, supporting the overall food safety program and enabling seamless daily operations. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize all production‑grade cookware, utensils, and equipment after each shift, following established SOPs.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of the entire kitchen floor, walls, ceilings, drainage systems, and any adjoining construction or renovation zones.
- Inspect and maintain cleaning tools, such as pressure washers, scrubbers, and chemical dispensers, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning agents (detergents, sanitizers, soaps) and request replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Document daily cleaning activities in a logbook, reporting any anomalies, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the Kitchen Manager.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of sanitation procedures in line with HACCP and local health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, production staff, and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning schedules that minimize disruption to food preparation.
- Conduct periodic deep‑cleaning projects, such as floor grinding, vent hood degreasing, and water‑line flushing, especially after construction work.
- Ensure all cleaning activities are performed using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and that safety guidelines are strictly observed.
- Support the onboarding and training of new kitchen staff on proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; domicile must be within Kab. Kebumen.
- Age limit: up to 30 years old.
- No prior experience required, though a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) with personal motorbike for commuting.
- Active SKCK (Police Clearance Letter) with no criminal record.
- Ability to work long hours standing, lifting moderate loads, and handling large volumes of kitchenware.
- No known allergies to common cleaning chemicals such as soaps, detergents, or disinfectants.
- Strong work ethic: disciplined, reliable, and possessing good moral conduct.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a high level of enthusiasm for maintaining a spotless production environment.
- Basic knowledge of operating kitchen cleaning equipment and familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals.
