Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our fast‑paced Food & Beverage (F&B) team. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of kitchen efficiency, food safety, and team collaboration in a bustling restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and plating adhere to established recipes and quality standards.
- Coordinate with chefs, line cooks, and service staff to streamline workflow and minimize wait times during peak service periods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock takes, and place orders for raw materials and consumables to prevent shortages.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment, cleaning schedules, and compliance with local health regulations.
- Train new kitchen personnel on standard operating procedures, equipment usage, and workplace safety, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor kitchen equipment performance, schedule routine maintenance, and promptly report any malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and adjust shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels while respecting labor regulations and employee well‑being.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize cost‑control measures without compromising food quality.
- Analyze daily performance metrics, such as order turnaround time and waste levels, and propose actionable improvements.
- Act as a point of contact during audits and inspections, providing documentation and demonstrating compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: Ideally between 20 and 30 years old.
- Experience: At least 1 year of practical experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the F&B industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, slicers, etc.) and familiar with basic food safety software.
- Soft Skills: Strong teamwork orientation, excellent communication, high work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
