Introduction
We are seeking a highly organized Control Material Inventory Supervisor to join our dynamic operations team in Sukabumi. This pivotal role ensures that all production materials are accurately tracked, readily available, and efficiently managed throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with the warehouse, PPIC, purchasing, and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor the inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods to guarantee uninterrupted production flow.
- Maintain precise records of all inbound and outbound material movements using standardized forms and ERP systems.
- Conduct regular stock opname (physical inventory counts) and reconcile differences with system data.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, highlighting variances, trends, and potential shortages.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros) to analyze stock levels and forecast demand.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse staff to optimize storage layouts, improve picking efficiency, and reduce handling time.
- Coordinate with PPIC and purchasing departments to trigger timely replenishment orders and avoid production delays.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, such as cycle count scheduling, safety stock adjustments, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to junior inventory clerks on proper documentation and inventory control best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards related to material handling.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Educational background: Minimum D3 or S1 in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or PPIC (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
- Strong understanding of material flow, stock management, and supply‑chain fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic data‑analysis tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Preferably residing in Sukabumi or surrounding areas to facilitate on‑site coordination.
