Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Kasir Penjualan Ritel who excels in customer service to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be the friendly face at the checkout, ensuring smooth transactions, accurate cash handling, and an exceptional shopping experience for every customer. This full‑time position works Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and offers the chance to grow within a fast‑moving retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer, perform regular cash reconciliations, and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide recommendations to increase sales.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area, notify supervisors of low‑stock items, and assist with shelf‑stocking when needed.
- Collaborate with sales associates, floor managers, and warehouse staff to resolve customer issues quickly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security procedures, including loss‑prevention measures.
- Work under pressure during peak hours, maintaining accuracy and a calm attitude.
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist in weekly performance analysis.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, promotions, and POS upgrades.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a retail cashier or in a similar customer‑facing role.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- Honest, reliable, and highly responsible with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Resilience to work under tight deadlines and high‑traffic situations.
