Responsibilities
- Ingredient Preparation: Accurately measure, wash, peel, chop, and portion raw ingredients according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Cooking & Execution: Execute cooking techniques such as sautéing, grilling, boiling, and frying under the guidance of the head chef, ensuring flavor consistency and proper doneness.
- Food Presentation: Assemble plated dishes with attention to visual appeal, garnish appropriately, and ensure each plate meets the restaurant’s presentation standards.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Perform routine cleaning of workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas; follow HACCP and local food‑safety regulations to prevent cross‑contamination.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, rotate perishable items using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) methods, and report any discrepancies to the kitchen supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with fellow crew members, chefs, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in briefings, suggest process enhancements, and stay updated on emerging culinary trends and techniques relevant to the local market.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a commercial kitchen or food‑service environment.

- Strong active communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic culinary skills, including knife handling, seasoning, and cooking methods.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 kg, and work in a fast‑paced environment.

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, with operating hours from 07:00 to 23:59.
