Responsibilities

- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records, reporting to the program coordinator on a weekly basis.
- Foster a communicative classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, confidence, and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and academic staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular Mandarin clubs.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote discipline, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
- Utilize personal transportation to arrive punctually for classes and any off‑site tutoring sessions.
- Continuously improve teaching techniques through peer observations, professional development workshops, and self‑reflection.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mandarin, Chinese Studies, Education, or a related field.

- Strong command of Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) and the ability to teach it effectively.
