Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, work‑in‑process items, and finished goods according to documented specifications.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauge blocks to verify product tolerances.
- Document inspection results in the company’s quality management system and flag any non‑conformities for corrective action.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to identify root causes of defects and implement preventative measures.
- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inspection checklists to reflect best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing evidence of compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in Kaizen events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to cross‑functional teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members on inspection techniques and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Open to candidates with or without prior experience in quality assurance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
- Proactive attitude with the initiative to identify issues before they become problems.
- Excellent teamwork skills; comfortable collaborating with production, engineering, and management.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities in Bahasa Indonesia (and basic English is a plus).
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools and a willingness to learn advanced inspection equipment.
