Introduction
The Field Collector position based in Bandar Lampung is a pivotal role within our credit and collections team. As a front‑line representative, you will engage directly with customers to recover outstanding payments, build strong relationships, and support the financial health of the organization. This role requires a blend of on‑the‑ground fieldwork, effective communication, and solid negotiation skills, all while navigating the vibrant commercial landscape of Bandar Lampung.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection visits to residential and commercial customers across the Bandar Lampung region.
- Identify, verify, and document overdue accounts, ensuring all relevant customer data is accurately recorded.
- Negotiate payment arrangements, offering flexible solutions that align with company policies while maintaining a customer‑centric approach.
- Collect payments in cash, bank transfers, or mobile wallets, and issue receipts in accordance with compliance standards.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, highlighting payment outcomes, challenges faced, and follow‑up actions required.
- Achieve or exceed assigned collection targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) each month.
- Coordinate with internal credit, legal, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and escalations promptly.
- Maintain and update the area mapping database, ensuring efficient routing and optimal use of travel time.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating a two‑wheel vehicle and handling cash transactions.
- Provide feedback on market trends, customer payment behaviors, and potential risk factors to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in collections; 2 years preferred.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable motorbike.
- Thorough knowledge of the Bandar Lampung area, including neighborhoods, commercial districts, and major transport routes.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of achieving collection targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of handling difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple accounts.
- Basic proficiency with mobile data collection tools, GPS navigation, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
