Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Penanganan Kebakaran (Fire Response Officer) to join our safety team. This role is critical in protecting lives, property, and the environment by responding swiftly to fire incidents, conducting preventive inspections, and educating staff on fire safety best practices. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver who thrives under pressure, works well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrates unwavering integrity.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls, assess the situation, and implement appropriate fire suppression techniques.
- Operate and maintain fire fighting equipment, including extinguishers, hoses, and protective gear, ensuring all tools are serviceable and compliant with regulations.
- Conduct routine fire safety inspections of facilities, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Develop and deliver fire safety training sessions for employees, covering evacuation procedures, proper use of extinguishers, and emergency communication protocols.
- Collaborate with local fire departments, emergency services, and regulatory agencies during drills and actual incidents.
- Document incident reports, inspection logs, and maintenance records with accuracy and timeliness.
- Participate in the creation and continuous improvement of the organization’s emergency response plan.
- Work under high‑stress conditions, maintaining composure and clear decision‑making throughout an emergency.
- Support post‑incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of fire drills, ensuring all personnel are familiar with exit routes and assembly points.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.
