We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mathematics Teacher (Guru Matematika Senior) to join our dynamic faculty at a leading senior high school. Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and deliver comprehensive mathematics curricula for grades 10‑12, aligning with national standards and examination requirements.
- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate differentiated instruction, technology integration, and real‑world problem solving.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentor junior teachers, lead professional development workshops, and contribute to departmental planning meetings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including science, technology, and counseling departments—to create interdisciplinary projects.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities such as math clubs, competition teams, and tutoring sessions.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, addressing academic concerns and celebrating student achievements.
- Uphold school policies, promote a safe learning environment, and model ethical behavior and academic integrity.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching experience at the senior high school level is preferred; recent graduates with strong tutoring or volunteer experience are also considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated patience, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for education, continuous learning, and the professional development of students.
- Familiarity with modern educational technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, learning management systems) and online assessment tools.
