Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Architect Senior Building Design Specialist to join our dynamic design team. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to lead complex architectural projects from concept through construction, while collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver innovative, sustainable, and aesthetically compelling built environments. The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical foundation with creative vision, ensuring that every design not only meets client expectations but also adheres to local regulations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed construction documents for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams to ensure integrated, clash‑free solutions.
- Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and code compliance reviews, incorporating local zoning and building regulations.
- Create high‑quality 3‑D visualizations, renderings, and immersive walkthroughs using software such as Enscape, SketchUp, and Photoshop to support client presentations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling design presentations to clients, consultants, and stakeholders, clearly articulating design intent, material selections, and sustainability strategies.
- Mentor junior architects and drafters, providing guidance on design methodology, software proficiency, and project documentation standards.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of design phases while maintaining rigorous quality control.
- Collaborate with the business development team to contribute to proposals, cost estimates, and value engineering studies.
- Stay current with emerging design trends, new construction technologies, and evolving architectural software tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in architectural design, preferably within a design studio or consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Architectural Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in industry‑standard software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in Indonesian; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple project deadlines.
- Creative problem‑solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
