Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi Server dan Racker to join our growing IT operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, a disciplined work ethic, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission new rack‑mounted servers, storage arrays, and networking equipment according to vendor specifications.
- Perform routine hardware maintenance, including firmware updates, component replacements, and cable management to keep rack density optimal.
- Monitor server health using centralized tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, or proprietary dashboards) and respond to alerts within defined SLA windows.
- Execute backup and disaster‑recovery procedures, verify data integrity, and conduct regular restoration tests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and virtualization issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
- Document all changes, configurations, and incident reports in the IT knowledge base to support audit compliance.
- Collaborate with the network team to ensure proper VLAN tagging, power distribution, and environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity).
- Assist in capacity planning by analyzing usage trends and recommending hardware upgrades or consolidations.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support for critical incidents.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure rack environment, adhering to industry best practices for cable management and equipment labeling.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
