Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Helper Animal for Care and Cleanliness to join our growing team of animal‑care professionals. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the well‑being of animals, enjoy hands‑on work, and thrive in a structured, supportive environment. The role offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and includes a minimum one‑year contract with opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute fresh food and water to all animals according to dietary guidelines.
- Maintain immaculate living spaces by cleaning cages, pens, and surrounding areas on a daily basis.
- Perform routine grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming, ensuring comfort and hygiene.
- Monitor animal health indicators (e.g., appetite, behavior, coat condition) and promptly report any concerns to the senior veterinary staff.
- Assist veterinarians and senior caregivers during medical examinations, vaccinations, and minor procedures.
- Record daily observations, feeding logs, and cleaning schedules in the electronic management system.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies are sanitized and stored properly after each use.
- Support the team in organizing and executing special events such as adoption days, educational tours, and community outreach programs.
- Adhere strictly to safety and biosecurity protocols to protect both staff and animals.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in animal welfare and hygiene.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Female candidates preferred, but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
- No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates with a genuine love for animals are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable handling animals of various species without fear or aggression.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to commit to a minimum one‑year contract.
- Basic literacy and numeracy to complete daily logs and simple reports.
