The successful candidate will act as a trusted liaison between prospective borrowers and Amartha’s lending programs, ensuring that eligible families receive timely access to capital while maintaining rigorous compliance with our internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new borrower prospects by conducting outreach activities, community events, and referral programs to expand Amartha’s customer base.
  • Provide personalized economic counseling and ongoing support to household members, helping them develop sustainable business plans and improve financial literacy.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, evaluating creditworthiness against Amartha’s risk criteria, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on application status, field observations, and market trends to inform senior management and product development teams.
  • Execute collection activities, including friendly reminders and structured repayment plans, while maintaining a respectful and solution‑focused approach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as underwriting, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth loan processing and disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions, field visits, and transaction data in Amartha’s CRM system.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, community workshops, and performance reviews to continuously improve field‑work efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years as per original posting).
  • Open to all genders; female candidates are strongly preferred.
  • Own reliable personal transportation (motorcycle or car) to travel across the Indramayu area daily.
  • Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust in diverse community settings.
  • Resilience and the capacity to work independently in field environments.
  • No prior experience required; however, experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach is advantageous.
  • Basic digital literacy for using mobile applications and reporting tools.
