Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator (Koordinator Operasional Warehouse) to lead our distribution hub located in Soreang, Kabupaten Bandung. This pivotal role will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure seamless inventory flow, and support our growing logistics network. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on warehouse experience with strong leadership abilities to drive efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Manage the Warehouse Management System (WMS), update inventory records in real time, and generate accurate daily reports for senior management.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, conduct shift briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, pick‑rate, and on‑time shipments.
- Develop and optimize warehouse layout designs to maximize space utilization, improve picking routes, and reduce handling time.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics partners to align inbound and outbound schedules, minimizing bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including lean techniques, cycle‑count programs, and waste reduction strategies.
- Handle escalations related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, monitoring expenses for equipment, utilities, and labor.
- Foster a culture of accountability, honesty, and teamwork, encouraging staff development and cross‑training.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any discipline) with a strong preference for logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering backgrounds.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a warehouse coordinator, head of warehouse, or similar role in distribution or retail environments.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic ERP integration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, conduct performance reviews, and drive results.
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of working effectively in a multicultural team.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Willingness to be based full‑time in Soreang, Kabupaten Bandung.
