Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Pramuniaga (Sales Clerk) to join our team in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. This position is a key front‑line role within our pawnshop and micro‑finance division, where you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to customers who bring in valuable items for pawn or loan transactions. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail‑oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while adhering to strict compliance and security procedures.

Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods. The role may require placement in a different domicile within the region, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience across multiple branch locations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, verify their identification, and assess their needs with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of pledged items, ensuring they meet the company’s valuation and security standards.
  • Process pawn, loan, repayment, and redemption transactions accurately, following the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Explain loan terms, interest rates, repayment schedules, and the procedures for retrieving pledged items in clear, understandable language.
  • Maintain accurate records in the transaction management system, including data entry into Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting purposes.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments securely, reconciling daily cash drawers and preparing end‑of‑day reports.
  • Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional financial products such as short‑term loans, insurance, or promotional offers.
  • Collaborate with the security and compliance teams to ensure all activities comply with local regulations and internal policies.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, market trends, and customer service best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a Certificate of Completion (Pak​et C) is acceptable.
  • Age not exceeding 29 years and 11 months at the time of application.
  • Height: at least 150 cm for females and 155 cm for males, with a proportional body weight.
  • Professional appearance – neat, well‑groomed, and presentable.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; ability to listen actively and convey information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Active SKCK (Police Clearance Certificate) indicating no criminal record.
  • Demonstrated traits of diligence, honesty, discipline, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to be assigned to a branch outside of the current domicile.
  • Basic numeracy and analytical skills to assess collateral value and calculate loan terms.
  • Team player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues during busy periods.
