Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Pharmacist (Asisten Apoteker) to join our dynamic retail pharmacy team. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under the supervision of the senior pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards.
- Provide clear medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side‑effects, and drug‑interaction warnings.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks, processing orders, and managing expired or recalled products.
- Assist in preparing and compounding sterile and non‑sterile preparations when required.
- Support the implementation of pharmacy SOPs, quality‑assurance procedures, and regulatory audits (BPOM, Kemenkes).
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription queries and ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in community health initiatives such as blood pressure screening, vaccination drives, and medication therapy management programs.
- Handle over‑the‑counter (OTC) sales, offering appropriate recommendations and upselling health‑related products.
- Document all dispensing activities in the pharmacy management system and contribute to monthly reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and patient‑friendly retail environment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy (Farmasi).
- Valid STRTTK, professional registration (serkom), and oath (sumpah) as required by Indonesian law.
- At least 1‑2 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Female candidates are preferred to align with company policy.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian drug regulations and pharmacy best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients in a friendly manner.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
- Proficient with pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and store staff.
