Introduction
Gemilang Pusat Bahan Bangunan, a leading retailer in Palangkaraya, is expanding its sales force for the Lampbond LED lighting line. We are seeking energetic and persuasive Sales Promotion Boys/Girls (both male and female) who are passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and driving revenue in a fast‑moving retail environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates, experienced sales professionals, or anyone with a strong desire to grow within the retail and electrical products sector.
Responsibilities
- Actively approach customers in the store, demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of Lampbond LED products.
- Provide personalized product recommendations based on the customer’s lighting needs, energy‑saving goals, and budget.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive product display that highlights new arrivals, promotions, and best‑selling items.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets through effective upselling, cross‑selling, and promotional campaigns.
- Accurately record sales transactions using the POS system and generate daily sales reports.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct weekly stock counts, and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
- Develop and deliver compelling product storytelling that simplifies technical specifications for non‑technical customers.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to execute in‑store events, flash sales, and product launches.
- Provide after‑sale support, answer product queries, and resolve any customer concerns with a service‑oriented mindset.
- Participate in shift rotations, adhering to the schedule of Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00‑17:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 20 and 30 years.
- At least one year of experience in sales, SPG, retail, or related customer‑facing roles (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Excellent communication skills, friendly demeanor, and strong persuasive abilities.
- Quick learner with the ability to master product knowledge in electrical and LED lighting technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and data entry.
- Ability to work under target pressure and adapt to shift work.
- Service‑oriented attitude, patience, honesty, discipline, and accountability.
- Residence within a 30‑minute commute to Gemilang Pusat Bahan Bangunan Palangkaraya.
- Competencies such as market trend analysis, competitor analysis, data‑driven sales analytics, and basic negotiation skills are considered a plus.
