Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Cook (Asisten Koki) to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will support chefs in daily food preparation, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of menu items according to standardized recipes.
  • Set up workstations before service, ensuring all ingredients, tools, and equipment are ready for use.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and coffee‑related appliances safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, and maintaining proper food storage practices.
  • Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock quality, and labeling ingredients for easy identification.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours, especially on busy Saturday shifts.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies, reporting any hazards or inconsistencies to the head chef immediately.
  • Continuously develop culinary skills through on‑the‑job training, workshops, and mentorship from experienced chefs.

Requirements

  • Male, aged 19‑25 years; must not be currently enrolled in a university program.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance; neat, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Highly disciplined, responsible, and capable of working quickly without compromising quality.
  • Prior experience in the coffee industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in operating basic kitchen equipment and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a genuine passion for food service.
