Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks in accordance with our standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service counter, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and in optimal working condition.
- Take customer orders accurately, recommend menu items, and upsell seasonal promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions, process card payments, and reconcile daily sales reports with attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items, and coordinate with fellow baristas during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; notify management of shortages and assist with restocking.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including regular cleaning of workstations, equipment sanitation, and proper waste disposal.
- Participate in shift handovers, providing clear communication about any operational issues or guest feedback.
- Engage with regular patrons, remembering preferences and building lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits.
- Assist in occasional promotional events, product tastings, and community outreach activities organized by the café.
Requirements
- Male candidates up to 25 years old (female applicants are also welcome as the position is open to all genders).
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
- Willingness to work rotating shift schedules, including weekends.
- Strong team‑player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Basic barista skills or a genuine interest in learning coffee preparation techniques.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Availability to work from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
