Introduction
We are a bustling independent coffee shop located in the heart of Sidoarjo, dedicated to delivering high‑quality specialty coffee and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to our community. We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Barista (and Kitchen Crew) to join our team on a full‑time basis. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to our standard recipes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and surrounding work areas throughout each shift.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with light kitchen duties, including preparing simple food items, plating, and restocking ingredients.
- Provide friendly, attentive service, taking orders accurately and answering customer questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and ensure accurate register balancing at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, notifying management of replenishment needs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene standards, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create a smooth workflow during peak hours (14:00 – 22:00).
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new brewing techniques and product offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates are preferred for this specific posting.
- No prior experience required; both experienced baristas and newcomers are welcome.
- Willingness to commit to a minimum three‑month contract.
- Full‑time availability, able to work every day from 14:00 to 22:00.
- Strong personal discipline, punctuality, and a habit of maintaining personal and workplace cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and teammates.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting (e.g., coffee bags, supplies).
- Residency in or near Sidoarjo is highly preferred to ensure reliable attendance.
- Basic knowledge of barista techniques or a genuine willingness to learn on the job.
