Introduction
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant – Tax & Corporate Compliance to join our finance team in West Jakarta. This full‑time position plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial recording, timely tax filings, and strict adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands‑on experience with the Accurate accounting software, and a thorough understanding of Indonesian tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Enter daily transaction data into the Accurate accounting system with precision.
- Verify supporting documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment proofs to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Maintain systematic daily bookkeeping records, including journal entries and ledger updates.
- Perform bank reconciliations to match internal records with bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Organize and archive financial documents in a logical, searchable filing system, both physical and digital.
- Prepare and issue tax invoices (Faktur Pajak) and coordinate the submission of periodic tax reports, including SPT PPh and PPN.
- Assist in the preparation of month‑end and year‑end closing activities, supporting senior accountants with financial statements and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure cross‑functional alignment on budgeting and forecasting.
- Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and accounting standards, recommending process improvements where applicable.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reports for management decision‑making.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, with a focus on tax compliance.
- Proficient in Accurate accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, Coretax, and corporate compliance procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Female candidates residing in West Jakarta (Jakarta Barat) are preferred to meet local domicile requirements.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak filing periods.
