Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Baristas to join our vibrant coffeehouse in Sukabumi. As a professional Penyaji Minuman Kopi, you will be the face of our brand, delivering expertly crafted beverages and creating memorable experiences for every guest. This full‑time position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and welcomes candidates aged 18‑25 who are passionate about coffee culture and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely, performing routine cleaning and routine maintenance to uphold quality and hygiene standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing product recommendations, and handling special requests with a friendly, customer‑oriented attitude.
- Manage point‑of‑sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, card payments, and issuing receipts.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; report shortages and assist with stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety regulations and health‑code requirements.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members, supporting shift handovers and contributing to a positive, cooperative atmosphere.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new drink trends, brewing techniques, and company policies.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including equipment shut‑down, cash reconciliation, and securing the premises.
- Gather and act on customer feedback, helping to continuously improve service quality and menu offerings.
Requirements
- Male or Female, age 18‑25 years.
- Reside in or near Sukabumi, with reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in food & beverage service is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work the scheduled shift of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Passion for coffee, curiosity about brewing methods, and a desire to develop barista expertise.
