Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based beverages, drip coffee, cold brew, and seasonal specialties according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is sanitized and in optimal working condition.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, performing regular stock checks and reporting shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable service to each guest, answering questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items.
- Handle cash transactions, operate POS systems accurately, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including deep cleaning, waste segregation, and securing the premises.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours, supporting colleagues when lines are long or orders are complex.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to guarantee a hygienic environment for both staff and customers.
- Participate in regular training sessions, tastings, and product knowledge workshops to stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, previous barista or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Essential skills: Basic coffee preparation, ability to operate espresso machines, and strong attention to detail.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, punctuality, discipline, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to follow SOPs, maintain cleanliness, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
