Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso drinks, with a particular focus on latte art that meets our high aesthetic standards.
- Maintain consistent beverage quality by calibrating grinders, espresso machines, and steam wands according to standard operating procedures.
- Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service, recommending drinks and explaining flavor profiles.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, ensuring stock levels are optimal for daily operations.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of all equipment, workstations, and the front‑of‑house area to comply with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior baristas, sharing latte‑art techniques and best practices for efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal drink menus and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues, reporting major problems to the maintenance team promptly.
- Adhere to shift schedules, working flexible hours—including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays—as required.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Educational background: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders; hijab is welcomed.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a barista, preferably with a focus on latte art.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk texturing, and flavor balancing.
- Excellent multitasking abilities: handle orders, prepare drinks, and maintain cleanliness simultaneously.
- Key soft skills: discipline, diligence, honesty, friendliness, and a genuine passion for coffee culture.
- Willingness to work in a shift‑based schedule, Monday through Sunday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Proficiency in food and beverage service, with a creative eye for artistic presentation.
