Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our security operations at our Jakarta headquarters. Based in the bustling DKI Jakarta region, the CSO will be responsible for safeguarding our assets, employees, and visitors while fostering a safe and resilient work environment. This senior leadership role requires a strategic mindset, hands‑on expertise, and the ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s security strategy, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with industry best practices.
- Oversee day‑to‑day security operations, including patrol scheduling, access‑control management, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response coordination.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation measures.
- Lead a team of security personnel, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities.
- Coordinate emergency drills, evacuation plans, and incident‑response protocols to ensure rapid and effective action during crises.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, fire services, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and enhance collaborative security efforts.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of security technology such as video surveillance, access‑control systems, alarm systems, and visitor management platforms.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports, incident logs, and statistical analyses to senior management for informed decision‑making.
- Ensure that all security staff are trained on the latest safety procedures, legal requirements, and cultural sensitivity considerations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety standards, occupational health regulations, and government security mandates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in security management, with a proven record of leading teams.
- Certification in Gada Utama (GU) or Gada Madya (GM) is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of security SOPs, risk‑management frameworks, and emergency‑response procedures.
- Proficiency with security technologies, including CCTV, access‑control, alarm monitoring, and incident‑reporting software.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English; ability to convey complex information clearly to staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities—decisiveness, discipline, integrity, and the ability to inspire confidence.
- Physical fitness to conduct inspections and respond to incidents as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal departments, external agencies, and community partners.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional on‑call duties for emergencies.
