Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Tenaga Elektromedis Profesional to join our growing healthcare team. This role is vital for ensuring that all medical devices and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with national regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical staff, providing technical support, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime and support high‑quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on a wide range of biomedical devices, including ventilators, infusion pumps, patient monitors, and imaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures, documenting all actions in the maintenance management system.
- Ensure that all medical devices meet the standards set by the Ministry of Health and maintain up‑to‑date records of certifications and Service Technical Reports (STR).
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical personnel to understand equipment needs and provide on‑site technical assistance during procedures.
- Train healthcare staff on proper operation, safety protocols, and routine checks for the devices they use daily.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Participate in the evaluation and procurement process for new medical technology, offering technical insights on performance and lifecycle costs.
- Adhere to strict infection‑control and safety guidelines while working in sterile environments such as operating rooms and intensive care units.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on equipment status, repair history, and recommended upgrades to management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Electromedicine, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license recognized by the Ministry of Health.
- Relevant work experience preferred, but fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.
- Female candidates are preferred for this position; candidates must be willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
