Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Collection Desk Coordinator to lead our collection team in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with proven leadership skills to drive timely debt recovery while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company’s cash flow, supporting financial stability, and ensuring a positive experience for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of collection agents to consistently meet or exceed monthly recovery targets.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, providing constructive feedback and actionable improvement plans.
  • Handle escalated collection cases, including high‑value or complex accounts, and collaborate with legal or compliance teams when necessary.
  • Ensure that all collection activities adhere to internal SOPs, industry best practices, and relevant regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (or local equivalents).
  • Develop and implement process improvements that streamline workflow, reduce delinquency cycles, and enhance data accuracy.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional departments—sales, finance, customer service, and risk management—to align collection strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on negotiation techniques, communication etiquette, and regulatory updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, ensuring data integrity for audit purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in collections or a comparable leadership role, with a proven track record of meeting recovery targets.
  • Strong understanding of collection processes, legal frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
  • Effective communication skills—both written and verbal—in Indonesian and English.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with collection management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Age ≤ 35 years; gender neutral hiring policy.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 09:00–17:00.
