Introduction
The Drafter Lapangan – Penyusun Gambar Teknik di Lokasi Proyek is a vital on‑site position within our construction and architectural teams. The successful candidate will translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings, support field measurements, and ensure that all documentation aligns with project specifications. This role requires a blend of strong drafting skills, hands‑on field experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and site supervisors. Candidates must be ready to work mobile, adapt to dynamic construction environments, and contribute to delivering high‑quality built outcomes on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain detailed AutoCAD and SketchUp drawings for all phases of the project, from conceptual layout to final construction documents.
- Conduct on‑site measurements, surveys, and inspections to verify existing conditions and incorporate them into the technical drawings.
- Interpret architectural and engineering specifications, translating them into clear, actionable drafting outputs that meet local building codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site foremen to resolve design discrepancies and ensure constructability.
- Produce shop drawings, detail sections, and as‑built documentation for structural, MEP, and finishing elements.
- Maintain an organized library of drawing files, revisions, and reference materials to facilitate quick retrieval and version control.
- Assist in preparing presentation boards and visual aids for client meetings, stakeholder reviews, and regulatory submissions.
- Support quality control processes by checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before release.
- Participate in daily site briefings and safety meetings, offering technical insights that help mitigate risks.
- Provide mentorship to junior drafting staff or interns, sharing best practices in software usage and field documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK/D3 in Building Technical Drawing, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of professional drafting experience, preferably on active construction sites.
- Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related tools; familiarity with BIM platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detail specifications, and field measurement techniques.
- Excellent ability to read, interpret, and translate technical drawings into clear, executable documentation.
- Highly detail‑oriented, accurate, and responsible, with a proven track record of delivering error‑free work.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling smooth coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to work on‑site (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and travel to various project locations as required.
- Immediate availability to join the team is preferred.
