We are currently seeking a Professional Driver for Goods and Passenger Delivery to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive pre‑trip inspection of the vehicle, checking brakes, lights, fluid levels, and tire pressure to ensure roadworthiness.
- Verify the accuracy of cargo manifests, confirming that all items are correctly loaded, secured, and matched to delivery orders.
- Safely operate the assigned vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies while transporting goods and passengers.
- Plan optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and delivery time windows.
- Deliver goods to designated stores or client locations on schedule, obtaining signatures or electronic confirmations as proof of delivery.
- Provide courteous assistance to passengers, helping with boarding and alighting, and ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
- Report any vehicle defects or accidents promptly to the operations manager and cooperate with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and presentation of both the vehicle interior and exterior.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational policy).
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM A) with a clean driving record.
- No prior professional driving experience required; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to handle cargo of varying sizes.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to interact politely with customers and team members.
- Quick adaptability to changing schedules, routes, and weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward safety and service excellence.
