Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate English & Math Teacher to join our learning centre in Depok, Juanda. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering academic growth in children aged 4‑15 and who thrive in a collaborative, technology‑enhanced environment. As part of our dedicated team, you will deliver the renowned Eye Level curriculum, helping students build a solid foundation in language and numerical reasoning while cultivating critical thinking and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English and/or Mathematics lessons that align with the Eye Level teaching philosophy and curriculum.
- Conduct small‑group and one‑on‑one tutoring sessions, adapting instructional strategies to meet each learner’s unique progress plan.
- Assess student performance regularly, grade assignments, and maintain accurate progress reports for parents and centre management.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and fellow staff members to discuss academic goals, challenges, and achievements.
- Motivate and inspire students, using positive reinforcement and creative activities to sustain interest and enthusiasm for learning.
- Integrate technology tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, learning apps) into lessons to enhance the learning experience.
- Assist with administrative duties such as attendance tracking, material preparation, and classroom organization when required.
- Identify any student or operational concerns promptly and notify the Center Director with proposed solutions.
- Promote and introduce the Eye Level program’s distinctive approach to problem‑solving and language acquisition.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Mathematics, Linguistics/English, or a related field. D3 graduates are also considered.
- At least one year of teaching experience with children or teenagers; fresh graduates and final‑year students are welcome.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to teach English and/or Mathematics to learners aged 4‑15.
- Proficiency in time management, lesson planning, and classroom discipline.
- Creative, tech‑savvy, and comfortable using digital learning platforms.
- Personal attributes: honest, disciplined, committed, communicative, attractive, and hard‑working.
- Professional appearance and a neat, approachable demeanor are a plus.
- Willingness to work onsite Monday‑Saturday, 09:00‑17:00.
