Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staf Maintenance Gedung dan Fasilitas to join our facilities team. This position is integral to ensuring that all building systems—electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil works, and elevators—operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver who can balance routine preventive tasks with urgent corrective actions, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The role reports to the Facility Manager and collaborates closely with security, cleaning, and external service providers.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of electrical panels, lighting systems, and backup generators to detect faults early.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on air‑conditioning units, chillers, and ventilation fans, ensuring optimal climate control throughout the building.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, water pump issues, and drainage problems, coordinating with civil contractors when structural work is required.
- Maintain and service elevators, performing safety checks, lubricating moving parts, and responding to passenger‑reported incidents.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date maintenance log, recording work orders, spare part usage, and completion times in the facility management software.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls outside regular hours, coordinating with external vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and safety equipment, placing purchase orders to prevent stockouts.
- Support the implementation of energy‑saving initiatives, such as LED retrofits and smart thermostat installations, to reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with the health and safety team to ensure all work complies with local regulations and company policies, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Male applicant, maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (SLTA). Technical certifications in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical maintenance are a plus.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in building maintenance covering electrical systems, air‑conditioning, water supply, civil works, and elevator servicing.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to keep work areas tidy and maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, courteous, and honest interaction with colleagues, vendors, and building occupants.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for logging maintenance activities and generating reports.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, lift equipment, and work at heights when required.
- Commitment to a full‑time schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for emergency situations.
