Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi Perawatan dan Instalasi to join our operations team in Jayapura. This role is pivotal for ensuring the seamless operation of restaurant equipment and facility systems across our nationwide network. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, preventive care, and rapid troubleshooting of kitchen appliances, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) infrastructure, and civil works within a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all restaurant kitchen equipment, including noodle machines, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, boilers, griddles, and cold storage units.
- Conduct routine inspections and corrective actions on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and civil structures to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that affect daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Replace defective components, calibrate machinery, and test equipment after repairs to guarantee optimal performance.
- Document daily activities in detailed work logs, highlighting problems identified, corrective measures taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with the company’s occupational health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, store managers, and the central engineering team to prioritize tasks and plan shutdowns with minimal impact on service.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and flexible shift schedules, including night and weekend shifts, to provide 24/7 equipment support.
- Assist in training junior technicians and share best‑practice maintenance procedures.
- Travel to other locations across Indonesia when required, bringing expertise to new sites and supporting regional projects.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is highly preferred.
- At least 2–4 years of hands‑on experience maintaining restaurant‑grade kitchen equipment and facility systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MEP disciplines, with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and plumbing layouts.
- Experience working with commercial kitchen appliances such as boilers, griddles, fryers, noodle machines, and cold storage units.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and be on‑call for emergency repairs.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, loyalty, creativity, strong work ethic, proactive attitude, innovation, and high dedication.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to produce clear, concise maintenance reports.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and navigate confined spaces safely.

- Willingness to be stationed in the Jayapura area and relocate nationwide if the business requires.
