We are a prestigious five‑star restaurant seeking a dedicated Professional Chef (Juru Masak Profesional) to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook the core menu items daily, including seblak, various noodle dishes, bakso, pizza, and a range of snacks, ensuring each plate meets our exacting flavor and presentation standards.
  • Maintain consistent taste profiles and uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation protocols throughout the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the owner and senior chefs to develop new recipes, experiment with seasonal ingredients, and refine existing dishes based on guest feedback.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, accurately record stock levels, and report any shortages or discrepancies to the management team.
  • Assist the owner in overseeing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring smooth workflow, timely service, and seamless coordination between front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
  • Enforce workplace discipline, promote a positive team environment, and mentor junior kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
  • Adapt to a home‑cafe style operating model, which may include preparing meals in a more intimate, residential‑like setting while still delivering five‑star quality.

Requirements

  • Male candidates aged between 30 and 45 years are preferred, though all genders are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of proven experience working in a kitchen, café, or restaurant environment, preferably within a high‑volume or fine‑dining setting.
  • Formal education equivalent to SMA/SMK or higher is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to execute a diverse menu, particularly Indonesian staples such as seblak, bakso, and noodle dishes, as well as Western items like pizza.
  • Excellent personal attributes: honesty, accountability, a hands‑on work ethic, and a willingness to be directly involved in all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and to adapt to occasional extended shifts during peak periods.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with the owner, suppliers, and team members.
