Introduction
We are a fast‑growing bakery brand based in Muara Karang, North Jakarta, known for our artisan breads, pastries, and specialty cakes. To support our expanding retail footprint, we are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Produk Bakery who will serve as the front‑line ambassador for our customers, ensuring smooth transactions, accurate stock control, and a welcoming store environment.
This full‑time position offers a dynamic work schedule from 06:00 to 22:00, Monday through Sunday, allowing you to engage with a diverse customer base while developing valuable retail and inventory management skills.
Responsibilities
- Process all cash, card, and digital payments quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Greet each customer with a friendly attitude, answer product questions, and suggest complementary items to increase average ticket size.
- Maintain an organized and attractive product display, rotating baked goods to showcase freshness.
- Monitor inventory levels throughout the shift, record deliveries, and update the stock management system to prevent shortages.
- Conduct basic quality‑control checks on bakery items before they reach the sales floor, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
- Identify and report any irregularities or potential fraud in transactions or inventory handling.
- Keep the cashier area, display shelves, and surrounding store clean and sanitized according to food‑service regulations.
- Collaborate with bakery staff to coordinate timely replenishment of high‑demand items during peak hours.
- Assist in end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare deposit slips, and hand over reports to the store manager.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and emerging trends to help shape future product offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cashiering, retail, or food‑and‑beverage environments.
- Proficient in operating a cash register or POS system; basic computer literacy is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining a customer‑centric approach.
- Fundamental understanding of stock management and quality‑control procedures.
- Preferred residence in Jakarta with personal transportation for reliable commuting.
- Female candidates only, as stipulated by the role’s specific operational needs.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
