Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, organizing storage areas, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work station, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow crew members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as needed to meet taste and texture standards.
- Participate in daily pre‑service meetings to review menu changes, special dietary requests, and operational priorities.
- Support the kitchen team in setting up and breaking down for events, catering orders, and special promotions.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager immediately.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Key skills: Ability to operate kitchen equipment, strong attention to detail, and basic food safety knowledge.
- Personal attributes: Discipline, reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
