Introduction
The Kitchen Operations Support Staff role is a vital entry‑level position within our food‑service team. We are looking for motivated individuals who can help keep our kitchen running smoothly, ensuring that every dish is prepared in a clean, organized, and timely manner. Our kitchen operates six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00. The successful candidate will work alongside chefs, line cooks, and fellow support staff to uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and line cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular sanitization of countertops, cutting boards, and utensils.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, fryers, mixers, slicers) according to safety guidelines.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking for proper temperature and labeling, and rotating stock using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) principles.
- Support the plating process by ensuring plates, garnishes, and sauces are ready and presented correctly.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
- Assist in waste management by separating recyclables, compost, and landfill waste in accordance with environmental policies.
- Collaborate with team members to handle peak‑hour rushes, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.
- Participate in daily briefings and health‑safety drills to stay updated on new procedures.
- Provide excellent internal customer service, responding promptly to the needs of chefs, servers, and management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.

- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a tidy, hygienic appearance and follow dress‑code standards.
- Must not be currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program.

- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and safety practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg when needed.
