Introduction
J&T Express, a fast‑growing leader in Indonesia’s e‑commerce logistics sector, is looking for energetic and reliable Motor Couriers to join our delivery team in the Lampung region. This role is essential for ensuring that customers receive their parcels quickly, safely, and with a friendly face on the doorstep. As a courier, you will be the front‑line ambassador of J&T, representing our brand’s commitment to speed, accuracy, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers using a personal motorcycle, following the most efficient route planning to meet delivery time windows.
- Sort incoming parcels by delivery area, verify package integrity, and secure items for transport to prevent damage.
- Utilize the J&T mobile application to scan each parcel, update delivery status in real‑time, and capture proof of delivery (signature or photo).
- Handle Cash‑on‑Delivery (COD) transactions, collect payments securely, and ensure daily deposit of funds to the designated bank account.
- Communicate proactively with recipients when address details are incomplete or inaccurate, confirming identity and securing proper hand‑over.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of your motorcycle, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to the operations supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies to protect yourself, the public, and the parcels in your care.
- Provide feedback on route challenges, customer interactions, and any operational improvements to help refine J&T’s delivery network.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 50 years old.
- Gender: Open to all.
- Possession of a valid and active SIM C (motorcycle driver’s license).
- Own a reliable motorcycle in good working condition.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run the J&T delivery app.
- Strong knowledge of the Lampung area, including major streets, neighborhoods, and commercial zones.
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Sunday, from 07:00 to 15:00.
- Basic numeracy for handling COD payments and accurate cash reconciliation.
