Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Finance Staff member to join our Financial Management and Budgeting team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain daily cash flow statements, expense reports, and bank reconciliation documents.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, tracking variances and providing explanations to senior management.
- Compile month‑end and quarter‑end financial summaries, supporting the preparation of management reports and audit schedules.
- Perform routine journal entries, ledger reviews, and verification of accounting records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to analyze financial trends, forecast cash requirements, and generate ad‑hoc analytical reports.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including procurement, operations, and HR—to gather financial data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure consistent application of accounting principles.
- Support external auditors by providing requested documentation and explanations during audit cycles.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Adhere to strict deadlines, manage competing priorities, and communicate progress and issues proactively to supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in finance or accounting; fresh graduates with solid foundational knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Strong grasp of basic accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and corporate finance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to create complex spreadsheets, use formulas, and generate visual data representations.
