Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Officer Funding and Grant Management to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and secure funding opportunities from banks, governmental agencies, NGOs, and private investors.
- Develop and submit comprehensive grant proposals, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and organizational goals.
- Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospective grants, track application deadlines, and manage all required documentation.
- Conduct field canvassing and outreach activities to build relationships with potential partners and beneficiaries.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of funding agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes for the organization.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and project teams to ensure proper allocation, budgeting, and compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and impact assessments for donors and senior management.
- Monitor grant performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce clear presentations, data analyses, and tracking dashboards.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and stakeholder meetings to enhance visibility and expand the funding network.
Requirements
- Age: 24–35 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Education: Minimum D3/S1 in any discipline; preferred fields include Management, Accounting, Banking, Marketing, or related areas.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in grant management, fundraising, financial services, or destination marketing.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; polished appearance and confident demeanor.
- Broad professional network or relationships within financial, governmental, or NGO sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation creation.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A or C) and personal vehicle preferred for mobile field work.
- Willingness to travel frequently, conduct on‑site visits, and perform canvassing activities.
- High integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
