We are currently seeking a diligent Spesialis Pemotongan Kain (Fabric Cutting Specialist) to join our team. This full‑time position offers a stable work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail‑oriented, disciplined, and passionate about the textile industry.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze garment patterns, technical drawings, and production orders to determine exact fabric requirements.
- Measure fabric lengths and widths accurately using centimeter and meter scales, ensuring minimal waste and optimal layout.
- Prepare cutting plans, mark fabric layers, and set up cutting tables or automated cutting machines according to the production schedule.
- Execute precise manual or machine cutting of fabrics, maintaining consistent edge quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine quality checks on cut pieces, identifying defects such as fraying, uneven edges, or incorrect dimensions, and report findings to the supervisor.
- Maintain an organized work area, including proper storage of rolled fabrics, tools, and cutting accessories.
- Collaborate closely with the sewing and finishing departments to ensure seamless hand‑over of cut components.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw fabric, request replenishment, and record usage for production reporting.
- Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensure that cutting equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to reduce material waste and increase cutting efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this specific role).
- Age: Maximum 35 years.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical fitness: Must be free from chronic health conditions that could impede prolonged standing or manual handling.
- Availability: Must not be enrolled in any academic program during employment.
