Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Operational Vehicle Driver to join our team. This full‑time position supports the daily logistics and transportation needs of our growing company, ensuring that company‑owned vehicles are safely operated, well‑maintained, and presented in pristine condition. The ideal candidate is a disciplined male driver, aged 40 or younger, with a valid SIM A (Indonesian driving license) and proven experience in both vehicle operation and basic car washing.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes, adhering to traffic regulations and internal policies.
- Perform routine cleaning and washing of all assigned vehicles, maintaining a professional appearance for client visits and internal use.
- Conduct daily pre‑trip inspections, checking oil, brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels, and report any defects to the maintenance department.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, ensuring transparency for the fleet management team.
- Coordinate with the logistics coordinator to schedule vehicle usage, prioritize urgent deliveries, and manage vehicle availability.
- Assist with loading and unloading light cargo when required, ensuring safe handling and secure placement.
- Follow company safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during vehicle cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Participate in regular training sessions on defensive driving, customer service, and vehicle care.
- Provide courteous assistance to internal staff and external visitors who require transportation.
- Support the upkeep of the employee mess facility by adhering to scheduled meal times and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age 40 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience with a valid SIM A license.
- Demonstrated ability to wash and detail vehicles to a high standard.
- Basic mechanical awareness to identify minor vehicle issues.
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as vehicle cleaning and occasional loading.
