Responsibilities
The Security Officer (Petugas Keamanan) will be the front‑line guardian of the assigned location. Core duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining continuous surveillance of premises, entrances, and vulnerable areas during assigned shifts.
- Patrolling on foot or by vehicle to deter unauthorized access, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Conducting thorough checks of identification documents and managing visitor logs.
- Responding promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and coordinating with local police or emergency services when required.
- Preparing accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and hand‑over briefings for the next shift.
- Ensuring all security equipment (CCTV, radios, access control systems) is operational and reporting any malfunctions.
- Enforcing company policies, local regulations, and safety protocols while treating all individuals with respect and professionalism.
- Participating in regular training sessions, drills, and briefings to stay current on security best practices and legal updates.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:
- Education: Minimum a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s operational needs).
- Physical standards: Height of at least 165 cm and a fit, healthy physique capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
- Certification: Valid GP (Guard Patrol) certificate or comparable security credential.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, any background in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous.
- Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Key skills: Strong observational abilities, good judgment, effective communication, basic first‑aid knowledge, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Personal traits: Integrity, reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
