Introduction
We are seeking motivated and detail‑oriented individuals to join our fast‑growing logistics hub in North Jakarta as Picker & Packer. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are accurately processed, packed, and dispatched to drivers for timely delivery. The role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment, can follow standard operating procedures meticulously, and are comfortable working within a team‑oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Picker Duties
- Monitor new orders in the warehouse management system and verify order details.
- Print inventory (INV) orders and ensure all required documentation is attached.
- Locate and retrieve items from storage locations according to the printed INV order, maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Conduct a quick visual inspection of each item to confirm condition and correct SKU before moving to the packing area.
- Communicate any discrepancies or stock shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Packer Duties
- Scan each barcode on the order sheet to confirm the correct product is being packed.
- Package items following company‑specified guidelines (e.g., protective wrapping, labeling, and weight limits).
- Generate and attach shipping labels, ensuring that all regulatory information is included.
- Initiate the driver‑dispatch process via the system, “tamping” the order to the assigned driver.
- Load packed orders into the driver’s tote, verify contents, and hand over the tote to the driver for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by current operational needs).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for order monitoring and barcode scanning.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift moderate loads, and move items throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00.
