Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Collection Officer to join our dynamic finance team in the Klaten area. Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to borrowers in Klaten and surrounding regions to negotiate repayment plans, collect outstanding balances, and verify the status of collateral.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity for reporting and audit purposes.
- Develop and implement strategic collection approaches tailored to different customer segments, balancing assertiveness with empathy.
- Collaborate closely with the credit analysis team to identify high‑risk accounts early and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as recovery rates, delinquency trends, and field expenses.
- Educate borrowers on the benefits of timely repayment, offering financial literacy guidance where appropriate.
- Coordinate with legal counsel for escalation of severe delinquency cases, including preparation of documentation for potential litigation.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards during field operations.
- Utilize personal vehicle and valid SIM C to travel efficiently across assigned territories, adhering to the established work schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Provide feedback to senior management on market conditions, borrower behavior, and opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
- Male candidates up to 40 years of age; however, the role is open to all genders as long as the candidate meets the competency criteria.
- Minimum educational qualification of SMA (high school) or D3; a D3/D4 degree is preferred for career advancement.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a collection or credit recovery role, preferably within the banking or micro‑finance sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain firm yet courteous under pressure.
- Deep familiarity with the Klaten area and surrounding districts, including local road networks and community dynamics.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable personal vehicle.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with credit management software.
