IT‑Service Laptop Medan is seeking a dedicated Professional Laptop Service Technician to join our growing team in Medan, North Sumatra. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics of laptop hardware and software issues, using multimeters, diagnostic software, and visual inspection.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as keyboards, displays, batteries, motherboards, RAM, SSDs, and cooling fans.
- Reinstall operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and configure essential drivers and application software.
- Upgrade system performance by installing additional RAM, SSDs, or other peripherals as requested by customers.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including thorough cleaning of vents, fans, and internal components to prevent overheating.
- Provide clear, courteous consultation to customers, explaining the nature of the problem, proposed solutions, costs, and expected turnaround time.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workstation, adhering to safety standards and ensuring all tools are properly stored.
- Document each service ticket accurately, record parts used, and submit detailed reports to the shop manager for inventory and billing purposes.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest laptop technologies, firmware updates, and industry best practices through continuous learning and training.
- Assist in training junior technicians and share knowledge on troubleshooting techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma (D3) in Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL), or a related field.
- Age: 18‑26 years (no upper age limit for experienced candidates).

- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in laptop or computer service, with a strong portfolio of repaired devices.
- Proficient in hardware troubleshooting, component replacement, OS installation, and system upgrades.
