Introduction
PT Bahtera Pesat Lintasbuana, a trusted partner of Bank BTPN and Bank SMBC, is expanding its field sales team in the Purwodadi area. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us as Sales Officer (SO) / Relationship Officer (RO). This role is pivotal in driving financial product adoption, building lasting relationships with micro‑entrepreneurs, private‑sector employees, and other non‑civil‑service customers, and contributing to the growth of our banking partners.
The successful candidate will work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and will be based in Purwodadi or any surrounding district within the region. The position offers a dynamic mix of sales, customer education, and field visits, with clear performance targets and a structured career path.
Responsibilities
- Promote and educate both new and existing BTPN customers on digital loan products, focusing on unsecured financing up to IDR 50 million for micro‑business owners and private‑sector employees.
- Market higher‑value loan solutions (IDR 300 million‑1 billion) under the “MAXI” program, guiding applicants through documentation requirements such as land certificates, vehicle titles, and other collateral.
- Develop and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with assigned customer portfolios, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for loan disbursements and cross‑sell additional banking products, including savings accounts and insurance.
- Conduct regular field visits to client locations, delivering personalized service and collecting necessary paperwork.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly activity reports, tracking leads, conversions, and any obstacles faced in the sales process.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting and credit teams to expedite loan approvals and resolve client queries promptly.
- Stay updated on regulatory guidelines, particularly OJK SLIK checks, to ensure all prospective borrowers meet compliance standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development programs and on‑the‑job training provided by the company and partner banks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate degree) – candidates with a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) may also apply if they demonstrate strong sales aptitude.
- Age: 18‑40 years old.
- At least 1 year of experience in banking, financial services, or direct sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Possession of a motorcycle and a valid SIM C (preferred for efficient travel to client sites).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with digital loan platforms.
- Strong ethical standards; willingness to undergo SLIK/OJK credit checks as part of the selection process.
- Key skills: financial product knowledge, sales management, and marketing.
