Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Remedial Officer to join our team in Buol. This role is pivotal in managing delinquent loan accounts, securing collateral, and ensuring that both creditor and debtor obligations are fulfilled according to contractual terms. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, and will be responsible for a blend of field visits, data analysis, and strategic collection initiatives. The position offers a competitive base salary aligned with the local minimum wage (UMK), performance‑based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes BPJS health and employment coverage as well as private health insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify debtor data, including payment schedules, overdue amounts, loan agreements, and fiduciary certificates.
  • Analyze documentation and conduct thorough investigations to assess the financial condition of each debtor.
  • Plan and execute on‑site visits to debtors for installment collection, addressing late‑payment penalties and negotiating repayment plans.
  • Coordinate the repossession of property units when contractual terms are breached, ensuring all legal procedures are followed.
  • Apply standardized procedures for managing, maintaining, and disposing of seized assets in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies, including alternative payment schemes, mediation, and settlement offers.
  • Maintain accurate records of property ownership transfers and ensure that all documentation reflects the current status of assets.
  • Monitor compliance with loan agreements, documenting any deviations and reporting them to senior management.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and customer‑service teams to resolve complex cases and minimize loss exposure.
  • Provide regular status reports and data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and improve overall recovery rates.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • No upper age limit; candidates of any age who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Open to all genders.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in debt collection, property repossession, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with communication tools (telephone, email, messaging apps) and basic office software.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret financial data and assess risk.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel locally within the Buol area for field visits, with a valid driver’s license preferred.
