Introduction
The Representative Sales Medical – Musi Banyuasin is a dynamic field‑sales position focused on driving product adoption and revenue growth within the midwife (bidan) channel across South Sumatra. This position is based in key regional hubs such as Palembang, Muara Enim, Musi Banyuasin, Musi Rawas, and Lubuk Linggau, offering a blend of office coordination and on‑the‑road customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine visits and detailed product presentations to midwives, ensuring thorough understanding and proper usage of medical products within the assigned territory.
- Verify product availability at customer locations and assist midwives in placing accurate orders.
- Manage the invoicing and collection process, ensuring that accounts receivable are settled within the agreed credit terms.
- Develop and maintain a professional rapport with all midwife contacts, fostering trust and long‑term partnership.
- Achieve defined sales KPIs, including both value and volume targets, outlet transaction coverage, and timely receivables collection.
- Create and maintain a Master Customer List (MCL) and a Fixed Journey Plan to guarantee systematic coverage of all customers.
- Coordinate trade and marketing programs, ensuring equitable distribution and execution in line with corporate objectives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports that capture performance metrics, trade program outcomes, and market insights.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend strategic adjustments.
- Participate in continuous product training and share best practices with the broader sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any discipline); a background in science or health‑related fields is a strong plus.
- At least 1 year of experience as a medical or health‑product sales representative, preferably handling devices, pharmaceuticals, or consumables.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans, including customer visitation schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven record of building relationships with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists).
- High integrity, honesty, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Valid motorbike license (SIM C) and ownership of a road‑worthy motorcycle with proper documentation.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the assigned territories and work independently.
