As a Business Partner, you will serve as the critical link between Amartha’s digital lending ecosystem and the families living in Solo’s neighborhoods. You will identify new client prospects, guide them through the application process, and ensure that each loan meets our rigorous underwriting standards while fostering long‑term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on‑site prospecting to discover potential borrowers and introduce them to Amartha’s loan programs.
  • Perform detailed household economic assessments, gathering income, expenditure, and asset data to evaluate repayment capacity.
  • Execute feasibility surveys and financial analyses in line with Amartha’s policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting strengths, risks, and suggested loan terms.
  • Facilitate weekly group meetings with existing borrowers, providing guidance on loan utilization, repayment schedules, and financial literacy.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, including client interviews, photo verification, and digital record‑keeping in Amartha’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and the product team to relay market insights, emerging trends, and community feedback.
  • Travel across Solo and surrounding districts, utilizing a personal two‑wheel vehicle to reach remote areas efficiently.
  • Optionally reside in company‑provided mess housing to maximize field presence and availability.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) – candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) are strongly preferred.
  • Age limit: Up to 33 years old.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle or scooter).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly with diverse households.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and present clear recommendations.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in field environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Solo and be flexible to assignments in other Amartha branches when needed.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in micro‑finance, community development, or sales is a plus.
  • Readiness to live in company‑provided mess accommodation (optional) to enhance field coverage.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with performance‑based incentives and tiered commission structures.
  • Company‑provided two‑wheel vehicle allowance or reimbursement for fuel and maintenance.
  • Mess housing available for those who opt to stay on‑site, reducing commuting time and costs.
  • Professional development programs, including training on financial analysis, digital marketing tools, and leadership.
  • Health insurance and occupational safety coverage.
  • Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional weekend field activities as required.
  • Opportunities for career advancement within Amartha’s rapidly growing network of field operations.
